Welcome to our Governors’ section.
The Committee Grid below sets out the structure of the governing body and who is on which sub committee. The governor profiles show the appointment date and term of appointment as well as their responsibilities and any information that may lead to a potential conflict of interest.
I want to offer a warm welcome back to parents, pupils and staff and a hello to those who are new to Marsh. My name is Kat Collins, I am Chair of Governors here at Marsh.
Here at Marsh, we take pride in our nurturing ethos, which supports each child to reach their full potential and ready them for their next school. This ethos also extends wider than just the school, allowing us to be a thriving hub for the Marsh & Micklefield community.
A governor's role is to oversee the school community and be a critical friend, casting a supportive eye on all areas of school life. So, you may see governors visiting the school, attending parent meetings, and at social events. This enables us to really be at the heart of what amazing things are happening at Marsh.
We have at least 4 meetings a term as a governing body , with members of the senior leadership team of the school, and I meet frequently with Mrs Godwin to ensure that we know and understand what is happening at Marsh.
We are always wanting to attract new governors to our team, so if you are interested in joining us or wish to bring something to our attention, please contact chairofgovernors@marsh.bucks.sch.uk
Further information about being a governor can be found on the National Governors Association website.
