Welcome Message from the Chair of Governors

A very warm welcome to Marsh School!

On behalf of the Governing Board, I am delighted to introduce you to our wonderful school community.

At Marsh , everything we do is rooted in our nurture values – kindness, respect, and care for one another. These values help us to create a safe and happy environment where children feel confident to learn, play and grow. We were so proud that Ofsted recognised this in July, when the school was judged Good in all areas . This is a real celebration of the hard work of our staff, the enthusiasm of our children, and the support of our families.

As Governors, we are here to support the school and help make decisions that will keep Marsh thriving for many years to come. Recently, we made the decision to move to a one-form entry. This means we can better manage the increasing costs of education while ensuring we continue to provide the high-quality learning and nurturing environment that our children deserve.

Being a governor is a rewarding way to make a difference, and we’re always happy to hear from anyone in our community who might be interested in joining our team. If you’d like to know more, please do get in touch – we’d love to chat.
